SDD20: Engage Students Multiple Ways through Blackboard Collaborate
Hours: 1.5
Spend some time with me to explore Blackboard Collaborate, which is a built-in video conferencing tool in Blackboard. We are going to try different ways to engage and interact with students in this virtual environment. I will start the session with a quick show and tell. After getting a sense of what Collaborate has to offer, you will then pair up or work in small groups to run mock office hours among yourselves while I walk around to answer any of your outstanding questions.
If possible, please bring your own device to the session. Cell phones, iPads, Kindles or laptops will do.
P.S. If you need accommodation, such as an interpreter, please feel free to send the request before Jan 12, 2020 to the Faculty Development Office at facdev@austincc.edu – (512) 223-7216. Thanks!
