Administrative Support Roles Work Group Activity

Hours: 3

The primary focus of this event is to gather information pertaining to the duties of administrative assistants for implementation of an online administrative procedures manual. This activity will benefit Administrative Assistants, Coordinators, Specialists and employees that assist and support Instructional Deans, Department Chairs, VPs & AVPs. We would like to include input and collaborate with any departments who will benefit from knowing this information. This will allow us to see the broader scope of what each department’s onboarding process entails and strengthen best practices in training support staff. In this activity we will create Work Groups to begin the collaborative process and collect information for the administrative procedural manual outline. This activity will be the beginning of ongoing collaboration in the development for a finalized administrative procedural manual.
