EHS: Heat Stress Training

Hours: 1.5

Learn the potential health effects of working in a hot environment, how to recognize the early warning signs of a heat related illness, factors involved in heat related illnesses and methods of preventing heat related illnesses. A review of the ACC Employee Guidelines to Working in Hot Environments will be included. This is mandatory training for the following employee groups: maintenance, Campus Police, warehouse, welding, building construction, automotive, any area that is required in their job description to work in a hot, exterior location.
