IDS: Competency Based Instruction: Foster Student Engagement through Competency Based Instruction

Competency Based Instruction is a learner-focused model of teaching in which the development and delivery of curriculum revolves around the knowledge, skills and/or attitudes a learner must demonstrate upon successful completion of a learning experience. This online workshop introduces the basic principles of competency based instruction and provide guidelines for application of these principles to current instructional practices.
