SDD18: She Runs with Scissors: Recognize the Thoughts that are Holding You Back

Hours: 1.3

Brought to you by ACC's Employee Wellness Program:

At this interactive and dynamic workshop participants will: discover the thoughts that do not serve you; break old patterns and write new scripts for a more empowered life; practice transforming thoughts to produce better results in all areas of your life; walk out with a simple but effective 3-step process to manage your own thoughts better.

Participants will gain resilience to bounce back from challenging events such as job loss, breakups or hurts; experience improved relationships across the board; find a more centered and peaceful daily life; be inspired by their own capacity to empower themselves and elevate their own emotions with thoughts alone

Cindy Austin would be a Labrador in the dog world--she never meets a stranger or forgets their name! Connecting with people and understanding how she can serve the change they are looking for is what motivates her in business and in life.

Public speaking and workshops are an opportunity for her to lay the groundwork for what makes great relationships and how anyone can apply the mechanics of creating better relationships with self and others. Whether she's presenting at an international conference or at a high school, she relishes the moment when someone sees the path to create more loving whole-hearted connections.

She finds it funny sometimes to look back at some of her life experiences: working on a 70,000 acre ranch in AZ as a bona fide cowboy, living and studying in Mexico City, and most recently being a mom of 2 teenagers, how many of her experiences resurface as metaphors while she's speaking, leading groups or in a 1:1 therapy session.

Her purpose is to use her skills connecting with people to educate, inspire and empower others to live their best consciously chosen lives. For her, staying grounded and balanced includes participating in her community through nonprofits, walking her XL dog, interval training, and regularly practicing yoga and meditation. If you are in Austin, you could also find her on a Pickleball court; and yes, it's a real sport.
