An easy guide, for advisors, on how to hold a successful "Advising on the Spot" event for students on their campus.
Andrea Hardwick & Patrick Troy are Advising Specialists at the South Austin Campus. They've already completed a couple of successful events, "Advising on the Green" & "Advising Luau" before "Advising on the Spot" was held college wide. Student Services worked closely with other departments such as Student Life, Financial Aid, & Librarians to provide differing opportunities for engagement with students, relationship building between advisors, staff, faculty & students. |
