The Learning Labs of Austin Community College (ACC) provide free, professional tutoring services at all ACC campuses. Depending on the campus, tutors are available in a variety of academic areas. One of the most unique features of the learning labs is the fact that many of the tutoring services are facilitated by ACC instructors, known as instructional associates in the lab. In order to gain knowledge of the function of the learning lab and to experience some of the services offered by the lab, the Highland Learning Lab will host an open house. Multi-room presentations given by IAs and tutors will display different aspects of the services provided. In addition, attendees will get an opportunity to satisfy their curiosity regarding the multitude of services provided by the learning lab and get better acquainted with the staff who work to ensure the lab’s success.
