GA15: Engaging Your Students in the Digital Age: Going Beyond Blackboard

Hours: 1.5

Co-curricular programming allows for students to gain leadership development skills and experiences that will enhance their performance inside and outside of the classroom. All ACC faculty are committed to student success. True student success includes serving the whole student. Student Life is committed to assisting your students in their journey to success. At this workshop, you will learn about Student Life's online portal, MySL and how you can use this service to tell your students about relevant co-curricular experiences and reach them on a more engaged level! You will learn how to navigate MySL, set-up your account, learn about student organizations registered with MySL and much more!

The Office of Student Life is staffed by diverse individuals with rich experiences in student affairs and higher education. Student Life Coordinators and Specialists create district wide co-curricular programming, recruit and train student leaders and create opportunities for engagement across the ACC district.
