GA15: Rubrics Cube: Expedite Your Grading

Hours: 1.5

The purpose of this workshop is to learn how to Determine, Develop, and Deploy assignment rubrics to establish consistent grading standards, focus students on study topics, and expedite grading.

-First, adopting a consistent interface allows faculty to create and replicate assignment rubrics.
-Second, a well-designed rubric helps students focus on the key expectations.
-Third, grading becomes more automated and faster as faculty can 'check-off' as key items are evaluated.
-Last, integrating rubrics into Blackboard helps automate course grading and course replication
