Flat World Education would like to invite you to a presentation on the growing competency-based education (CBE) movement in higher education. Flat World is an education company that partners with universities to design and deploy competency-based learning curriculum. With a focus on strategic enablement, we provide our partners in higher education the guidance and support services to effectively design CBE curriculum; the digital, modularized content to make up the curriculum; and the mobile learning platform for students to learn and faculty to instruct. Flat World takes a collaborative approach to curriculum design, engaging deeply with faculty and academic leaders to ensure institutional continuity. This presentation will provide an introduction to Flat World's approach and an overview of CBE.
