SXSWedu, one of the nation's largest educational conferences, is here in Austin. Interested in presenting there or just curious about what is entailed? This workshop will share an overview of how to submit a proposal for SXSWedu for Spring 2017. Learn about PanelPicker, the software used to collect speaking ideas. Deadline for SXSWedu submissions is Friday, July 22, 2016.

Presenter: Herb Coleman, Ph.D is the Director of Campus Technology Services (CTS) and Adjunct Professor of Psychology at ACC. He has presented at SXSW Interactive twice and SXSWedu. He has also volunteered for both events. He will review the types of SXSWedu presentations, the Panel Picker process and share his experiences. Questions about the process and the experience will be addressed.
