Item # 1:	Approve October Minutes

Discussion	Minutes approved.

Item # 2:	CollegiateLink - Student Life Content Management
Presenter	Lori Blewett
Discussion	Lori Blewett presented on how Student Life uses ''ColigateLink'' . A service that they use to manage SL events and club activities. https://austincc.collegiatelink.net/ Lori requested that users be able to log into the website using their ACCeID rather than OpenID or some other authentication method due to the accessibility issues that these methods have. The main issue facing this is that a third-party non ACC website would be authenticating against ACC user data The committee approved this request and directed Lori and Student Life to work with IT to allow this to happen. Additional Note: Margaret Peloquin stated that ACC library users logged into third-party database repositories with their ACCeID which authenticated using LDAP.

Item # 3:	Update on Ellucian Mobile App
Presenter	Edward Terry
Discussion	Edward Terry attended a webcast in which Ellucian - the providers for Datatel and WebAdvisor (Online Services) will be launching an application for smart devices such as phones and tablets that will allow users to complete tasks such as search, register, and pay for classes. Item # 4:	Student Web Development Program
Presenter	Adrian Ramirez
Discussion	Adrian Ramirez of the ACC Student Government Association (SGA) asked the committee to provide guidance on how students in certain areas of the college can do web-based projects for or with existing ACC faculty and staff. The committee asked what kinds of projects the student group had in mind, and why. Adrian reported that no particular projects had been considered at the time. The committee agreed it was a good initiative but to consider programs already in place such as internships and work-study opportunities.
