CRM Recruit - StrikeIron Address Handling Demo
Presenter
Mark - Enrollment Mgmt
Discussion
Nice Demo of Strike Iron from Mark.
Project Manager Notes:
Action Items:
- Mark to research data touchpoints in Strikeiron.
- Andrew will reach out to QAS to get information on the cost and system upgrades needed to maintain this provider relationship. Also looking at Clean Address because it integrates well with Colleague.
Requirements:
- StrikeIron is only for new applicants. Does not support existing students who change their address. There are roughly 700 of these per semester.
- Admissions and records has critical need for verification throughout the process.
- 100 - 150 applications come into review state per week. Roughly half are solved by Luann.
- Without QAS these issues will go to Residency for manual research.

Item # 4:
XLOCN - New Colleague Screen
Presenter
Kathy & Andrew - IT
Discussion
Recently created as response to many requests, especially related to reporting and identifying the 3 separate campus regions.
XLOCN is in both Colleague Live and Colleague Test. Please continue to offer modification requests.
One modification suggestion during the meeting was for an additional field to indicate whether the location was currently 'open' or 'closed'.
Another modification suggestion was to create start and end dates for specific addresses associated with Locations. A Project Initiation Form would be needed to move forward with this as it is would involve a significant amount of systems analysis and software customization in order to craft a workable solution. A key question in determining whether to move forward is whether the Clery Act mandates the tracking of address changes of buildings and campuses operated by the college.
