The combination of new GL software updates from Datatel and the effects of Friday's network outage has not created the conditions for smooth sailing with the fiscal year close. Many problems are being reported. As of Monday (and Tuesday as well), it is not certain that ACC will rule out postponing the ''close'' from December 10 to December 17.

IT is attempting to incorporate QAS Pro Web API into Colleague's 4.1 (Java) or 4.2 (Silverlight). ACC, along with Cape Fear Community College, are the first to attempt the integration of QAS with Datatel's new web browser-based user interfaces.

As a follow up to last month's meeting, CE has given HR a list of employees whose department affiliations need updating.
CE would like a closer connection between General Ledger numbers and Departments/Sub-departments. This would make the PA (Personnel Authorization) System work better for them. Marie will talk to Larry Russell about this request.
A request was made to demo the difference between a UniData file and the creation of ODS transforms at the next CORE meeting.
The next CORE meeting will be Monday, February 7 at 2:00 p.m.
