International Activities since 1993:
- Development an implemented a short-term study abroad program to China as part of the business curriculum. Take approximately 15 students to China each spring break
- Provided leadership in acquiring funding for three grant proposals (FIPSE Mobility Grant; Title VI B Grant to Internationalize the Business Department: and the City of Austin Small Business Development Grant)
- Developed and lead a study abroad program to China. Students study Chinese history, culture, and economic development in Beijing, Xian, and Shanghai.
- Participated in the development of a study abroad program to both East and West Germany.
- Develop an international professional development program for both Mexican and United States Accountants seeking to be certified in both countries.
- Participated in study abroad conference at the Universidad Autonoma de Queretaro
- Participated in the signing of the letter of cooperation with the sister city in Saltillo, Mexico
- Participated in dialogue with the Technological University of Coahuila in Saltillo, Mexico to foster and develop internship programs in business in both Texas and Mexico.
- Participated in the coordination of an exchange student program through the U.S. Congress-German Bundestag Youth Exchange Program. The one-year exchange program was designed to strengthen ties between the younger generations of the United States and Germany.
