Professional Experience

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, Boole and Babbage, Inc. (1983 - 1991).

Provided support for and enhancements to an interactive computer modeling software product used for performance analysis and capacity planning.  Responsibilities included design, coding, and testing for new releases of the product, and working with customers to resolve problems.

 

PROGRAMMER, University of Texas Computation Center (1982 - 1983).

Maintained the Script text processor.  Worked with university staff and IBM to identify and resolve Script problems.

 

SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER/USER SERVICES SPECIALIST, University of Houston Computing Center (1979 - 1981).  Maintained operating system and other system software.  Provided consulting to university faculty, wrote user documentation, and organized and taught seminars on computing center software.

 

PROGRAMMER, Houston-Galveston Area Council (1975 - 1978).

Provided programming support for a transportation modeling project.
