General Statement of Job

To assist students applying for entry into ACC Continuing Education health training programs by ensuring they follow the detailed health professions application process and find needed resources at ACC related to their program of study.  

Description of Duties and Tasks

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Provides direct services to prospective, current, and former continuing education (CE) students in the CE healthcare area.
  2. Provides information and assists individuals with the application process. 
  3. Proactively follows up with individuals to complete all required information in the application process. 
  4. Reviews health professions applications for updates and edits, as needed.
  5. Acts as a liaison between incoming students and program coordinators.
  6. Collaborates and coordinates with healthcare staff, registration team, and financial aid representatives to identify funding resources and assistance for students.
  7. Assists with student intake and other events that pertain to the promotion and recruitment of students.
  8. Assists with collecting student outcomes data for reporting purposes.
  9. Gathers, complies, and enters confidential data to produce accurate routine and specialized reports and documents for department applications.
  10. Maintains and updates records and files on recruitment activities along with collected student information using Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) Recruit and other software; creates and submits reports.
  11. Follows up with all leads and interested students to provide guidance through the registration process with ongoing quality communication, effective customer service, and advising support.
