Hours 40 Hours per week as assigned; Generally within the following hours: Monday 8 am-7 pm; Tuesday-Friday 8 am-5 pm; Occasional Saturdays 10 am-4 pm

General Statement of Job

Responsible for providing leadership and supervision of admissions and records campus operations in a designated region (north, central or south) of the ACC District.

Description of Duties and Tasks

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Assists the Executive Director of Admissions and Records in overseeing the daily operations of ACC campus admissions and records offices within their region.
  2. Supervises, trains, coaches, directs, coordinates and disciplines personnel while adhering to organizational human resources policies and procedures as well as related employment laws.
  3. Manage all professional judgement appeals for residency determination, tuition refunds and other student records appeals. 
  4. Ensures atmosphere in which the mission and vision of the institution are embedded in all practices and services for students and employees.
  5. Collaborates with Student Affairs leadership to provide guidance in developing access, success and completion strategies for Guided Pathways.
  6. Provides leadership in all areas of campus operations, including monitoring of campus service levels and making adjustments for improvement of customer service and staffing needs.
  7. Provides guidance for assigned region to maintain compliance with regulations and requirements of SACS, Department of Education, THECB, and ACC policies and procedures.
  8. Maintains consistent and positive customer relations, responding to internal/external customer inquiries in an efficient and timely manner.  Demonstrates an understanding of equity, diversity, and values differences and ensures that all services are developed and delivered within this framework.
  9. Participates in scheduled discussions with the Executive Team and other leadership team members regarding management reports, student data analysis, enrollment management goals, success strategies and student support services.
  10. Establishes and implements efficient administrative policies, programs, and procedures; develops strategic goals and objectives for campuses in conjunction with departmental and ACC strategic plans.
