General Statement of Job

To provide district-wide leadership in developing and operationalizing partnerships and collaborations with community-based organizations and other external partners, including, but not limited to, businesses, non-profits and educational institutions in order to support and enrich student success initiatives, especially for low income and other targeted student populations.

Description of Duties and Tasks

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Provides district-wide leadership for the development and on-going support of operational and strategic relationships with community-based organizations and other external partners including, but not limited to, community businesses, non-profits and educational partners to support student success initiatives, especially for low income and other targeted student populations.
  2. Drafts and maintains partnership agreements and MOU's, ensuring appropriate outcomes are delineated and the responsibilities and interests of all parties are fully articulated to support student success initiatives, especially for low income and other targeted student populations.
  3. Manages and maintains participant records for partnerships and collaborations, especially the ACAN and AOYC collaboratives.
  4. Manages, maintains, catalogs and stores MOU's and partnership agreements that support student success initiatives, especially for low income and other targeted student populations.
  5. Collects, analyzes, and presents student outcomes data to provide actionable information and allow for continuous improvement of student success initiatives, especially for low income students.
  6. In collaboration with the ACC Foundation, identifies and develops both material and financial resources from public and private business, industry and non-profit community-based organizations to provide non-instructional social supports for low income and other targeted student populations.
  7. Develops resources by leading or supporting grant applications that provide non-instructional social supports for low income and other targeted student populations.
  8. Coordinates with internal and external partners to develop, refine and maintain operational protocols for programs and services that support success initiatives, especially for low income and other targeted student populations.
  9. Manages budgetary, programmatic and reporting responsibilities of assigned operational units.
  10. Supervises, trains, coaches, directs and generally oversees personnel while adhering to organizational human resource policies and procedures as well as related employment laws.  Recommends hiring and termination for positions supervised.
