Location Highland Business Center
Hours 40 hours a week as assigned. Generally Monday thru Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
Salary Coordinator 3/120 ($38,922.00 - $55,603.00)

General Statement of Job

Responsible for the design, development and coordination, management and presentation of staff training programs. 

Description of Duties and Tasks

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Designs, develops, coordinates, and conducts training for classroom, online, or one-on-one delivery. Serves as facilitator and instructor for workshops and seminars.
  2. Researches and reviews models of teaching, learning theories, and best practices; implements techniques to develop and deliver workshops.
  3. Maintains the training portion of a project plan and adheres to project timelines.
  4. Creates and distributes marketing materials and class materials to promote professional development programs.
  5. Assists with the design and maintenance of course offerings in the database; enters workshop attendance and evaluation ratings, and reviews workshop feedback.
  6. Coordinates and oversees programs and events. 
  7. Partners with internal stakeholders regarding instructional needs and designs.
  8. Assists with collegewide training needs assessments and identifies program/skills gaps.
  9. Uses up to date training methods and techniques.
  10. Reviews and evaluates training programs.
