General Statement of Job

The IT System Analyst is responsible for maintaining and improving computer systems for ACC IT and its clients.

Description of Duties and Tasks

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Maintains and upgrades existing systems as required.
  2. Designs new computer systems and frameworks.
  3. Troubleshoots technical issues.
  4. Conducts risk mitigation planning.
  5. Monitors designated applications and takes corrective action to prevent or minimize system downtime.
  6. Collaborates with Business Analysts, Project Leads and IT team to resolve issues and ensuring solutions are viable and consistent.
  7. Creates system guidelines and manuals for the organization.
  8. Adherences to standardization, version control, and documentation best practices.
  9. Runs training sessions and workshops on system processes.
  10. Provides upper level support and guidance to users, ranging from beginners to expert users, having difficulties with applications.
  11. Conducts regular reviews of systems and generating reports on efficiencies and improvement areas.
  12. Structures and prioritizes business requirements and communicating plans with stakeholders for review and approval.
  13. Keeps current with the latest technology; regularly attends technical training in order to maintain technical expertise.
  14. Other duties as assigned.
