Develop, prepare and teach new Fashion Design coursework in engaging, innovative, and discipline-appropriate ways that reflect a commitment to equity, inclusion, respect for diversity, an understanding of culturally responsive teaching, and knowledge of the teaching field. Meets professional standards for faculty in accordance with college policies and procedures in the new Fashion Lab at Highland Campus. The Fashion Design program offers students an Associate of Applied Science in Fashion Design in the Business Area of Study as well as a Level 1 Certificate. The program has a State of the Art Fashion Lab located at Highland Campus, that trains students to operate industrial equipment. The department is committed to the fostering of student knowledge, skills and training. Teamwork and professional development is required in the department.
