General Statement of Job

To interview prospective students and provide support services to current Accelerated Programmer Training (APT).

Description of Duties and Tasks

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Interviews prospective students, reviews readiness assessment results, makes recommendations regarding placement into the APT Program, advises students regarding course registration; explains degree plans, admissions and registration procedures, provides assessment and financial aid information, and other requirements necessary for enrollment.
  2. Maintains weekly contact with assigned students via email and phone to ensure contact and increase student success.
  3. Conducts data tracking, organizing, and reporting of data.
  4. Assists with registration in restricted courses.
  5. Maintains and updates records and files and submits reports as appropriate.
