General Statement of Job

Responsible for the creation of exceptional creative and persuasive marketing copy for multiple formats and target audiences to promote the college and support recruitment efforts.

Description of Duties and Tasks

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Conceptualizes, writes, and edits brand-specific copy for a variety of integrated marketing campaigns and supporting collateral including print and digital ads, TV and radio spots, brochures, fliers, emails, web pages, presentations, social media promotions, and direct mail.
  2. Collaborates with the marketing team, including graphic and web designers, on appropriate creative strategies and executions for various formats.
  3. Researches and tests copy to ensure it achieves its goals of creativity, impact, and brand consistency.
  4. Proofreads and spell-checks all marketing collateral and deliverables.
  5. Researches, prepares creative briefs, and coordinates projects with marketing team, college clients, and subject matter experts, as assigned.
  6. Identifies new opportunities in support of a comprehensive and consistent brand strategy.
